The Engineering Department of the Yucaipa Valley Water District is responsible for coordinating the planning, design, construction and maintenance activities for the District's water, wastewater and recycled water divisions. This department works closely with consulting engineers to develop and exchange ideas which enhance the delivery of public services to our customers.

The District has recently released draft copies of the Design Manual and Construction Guidelines - A Resource Guide for the Design and Construction ofWater and Sewer Infrastructure. This Manual has been developed to provide design engineers with consistent criteria for designing water and wastewater infrastructure within our service area.

The District staff is currently soliciting comments and suggestions on the draft Manual which consists of the following sections:
